Why It Is Important To Update Your Packaging Labels

Want to increase your sales?  Update your packaging labels updating. There are several benefits for doing so.

New product labels will refresh and add new energy into your brand. Also a redesigned label will help you stand out more against your competitors. Before updating your product labels, you may wish to consider if such a change is necessary. Before making any hasty redesign decisions, review our list of recommendations below. Our suggestions will assist you in deciding whether or not a product label redesign is in your company’s best interests.

Adding New Product Lines

Adding new products will expose your brand to a wider audience. Your product will make a better first impression with a newly redesigned label. Improved brand consistency is another benefit of label redesign. You may also wish to consider using color-coded labels for each different product within each line.

Stay Current

People’s tastes evolve over time. This includes the tastes of you customers. What may have worked at one time with your label design may not work today. Continuing to use outdated label designs may be adversely affecting your sales. A complete label redesign is not needed to keep your labels relevant. Consider simplifying your label design instead. Using a different material or coating may revitalize your product labels, without sacrificing your brand identity.

Environmental Concerns

Updating your labels may also benefit the environment. Consider using renewable materials such as bamboo or cotton. Also think about reducing the dimensions of your labels. This will use less material overall and as a result, your price per label will be lower. You’ll be saving money while saving the planet at the same time.

Changes in Market

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) are always updating their labeling regulations. Whenever changes are made, it is important to update your packaging labels.

Refine Your Message

Your brand’s message has probably evolved over time. Do your packaging labels reflect this? Let people know exactly what your brand and company currently stands for with an updated label design.

Stand out from the crowd

Updating your packaging labels will help differentiate your brand from the competition. In addition, eye catching labels are important in the social media landscape. Attractive labels will encourage customers to take photos of your products and share it on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

It may be time to get rid off your old labels. United Label Corporation will be happy to assist you with your new labels. We’ll help find you the label design and solution that works best for your company.
