How To Make Your Label Stand Out

Almost everything sold today has a label. The crucial element is to have a label that makes your product stand  out from all the rest? The design, layout, shape, size, surface, and material of your label all are components that make your label unique.

Layout Design to make your product stand out

A label needs to have color combinations that compliment each other. While the colors need to be eye-catching and stand out, you do not want them to be too bright or vivid to distract attention away from the product the label is trying to portray. Additionally, the picture or shapes in the label need to accurately depict the product the label is applied to. The design of your label is essential in selling your product to prospective buyers for retail establishments as well as to the end user.

Shape

The label being printed needs to be compatible with the surface it is being stuck on. If the product is a cylinder or round-shaped bottle, the sticker needs to be designed to wrap around the bottle. If the product is a cube or different shape, the label needs to be printed long enough to wrap around the multiple sides or lie flat on one side.

Size

food-labels that make your product stand outEvery product is different, making every label size different. If the bottle is tall and long, then the label must be printed accordingly. The circumference and height are important when printing labels to make both the sticker and product stand out. The graphics need to be arranged so that the most important information on the label are front and center.

Surface

While most labels are stuck onto surfaces that are dry, smooth, and clean, some products may not be like this. Labels need to be designed and manufactured with your products specific requirements in mind. The proper material and adhesive need to be used to avoid label failure. United label has over 50 years experience in choosing the proper material for your needs.

Material

Each custom printed label and product is unique. Whether it be size material or copy variations there is always a special component to your label and your product. United label can help to assure you get the best fit for your needs.
